Travis Arey

Communications & Outreach Manager

Travis is a Kansas native who moved to DC in 2018. Prior to moving to the East Coast, he worked extensively in telephonic customer service, retail, and animal care. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s in media studies. As the Communications and Outreach Manager and having been on the other end of the employment game himself, Travis enjoys being able to provide assistance and insight to others navigating the hurdles of the hiring field.

When he is not at work, Travis lives in the Petworth area with his girlfriend and feline companion, Hobbes, and enjoys sampling the local DC cuisine, going to concerts (when available), and watching too many movies.
