Sofie Bitangcol

Recruiter

Sofie moved from the Philippines in 2002 and grew up in Arlington, VA. She graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Global Affairs. Before joining Contact 1 Inc, Sofie held several positions in the hospitality industry for 11 years. She started as a part-time Banquet Server and fulfilled her hospitality dream of becoming part of a hotel opening team as a Sales Manager in 2020. When the pandemic put a strain on the hospitality industry, Sofie decided to find a new role where she could continue connecting with and serving people from different walks of life. That’s when she started working as a temporary employee through Contact 1 and joined the team as a Recruiter in May 2022.

In her free time, Sofie loves to hike and spend time with her 100lbs Bernedoodle named Ollie. She also enjoys cooking Filipino food, singing karaoke, and exploring new places.
